  I want to be as objective as I possibly can about why I recommend no one consider this doctor to be your OBGYN. Upon entering his facility you will be welcomed by staff members who don't smile at all. And hardly make an effort to look you in the eye. When asking them questions be prepared to not get any sort of actual answer or help. Secondly, when doing a routine pap smear his nurse will ask you to undress and then make you sit there for no less than 45 min naked and alone in the room. Dr. Rivera doesn't speak precisely about anything and is very vague in his responses. I'm guessing to avoid some type of lawsuit or something, but I mean he can make an effort to respond to questions in a polite and meaningful way. I feel like WEBMD would be about 90% more helpful than asking this doctor anything. He also sounds very scripted when he says things like "we're here for you" almost as if he's being paid by a commercial to say it with a cheesy smile. The office also requires women to make appointments to see him even if you are going in just for some results or a prescription even if you just SAW him like a week before!!!!! To me this illustrates a man who is in it for $$$. Also his staff says they'll transfer you but they'll just hang up or never call you back. They don't offer any sort of help at all. It's frustrating and I have decided to see someone who actually cares about gaining rapport with their patients.
